The Annual Giving Officer is a full-time employee in the University Advancement division of Arcadia University.  Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, the Annual Giving Officer is responsible for managing a portfolio of annual giving prospects, assigned reunion giving classes, the Alumni Walk of Pride paver program, and student phonathons.  The Annual Giving Officer also helps to coordinate campaigns, fundraising volunteer programs, and represents the Annual Giving Office at alumni and university events.

This entry-level position is focused on the recruitment of undergraduate students, primarily first-year students. The individual manages and implements a recruitment plan for a geographic territory. Recruitment will involve travel to high schools, two-year colleges, transfer fairs, and college fairs. Participation in all on-campus recruiting events, including weekend undergraduate open houses is expected. Attendance at on-campus graduate open houses is also required. In addition, the EM Counselor will participate in review of undergraduate admission applications. Counselors are required to be knowledgeable about all full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate programs offered by the University. The counselor will, in general, contribute to the planning and execution of Enrollment Management recruitment and retention efforts. This individual will be knowledgeable about the financial aid process and various financing options.

The Area Coordinator independently interprets and applies student development theory to support retention and engagement efforts of Residence and Commuter Life.  The Area Coordinator works under supervision of the Assistant Director of Residence and Commuter Life and with general accountability to the Assistant Dean and Director of Residence and Commuter Life.  Through an efficient, student-focused approach to managing concerns, situations, and processes that support interpersonal development of resident and commuter students, the Area Coordinator is the front-line of Residence and Commuter Life within the residential and commuter living-learning environments. Additionally, the Area Coordinator collaborates with the Housing Coordinator to apply housing and operations philosophy to processes and administrative aspects of undergraduate housing. The Area Coordinator manages all day-to-day aspects of the residential and commuter areas, including, but not limited to, conflict management, conduct, programming, facilities management, housekeeping, and supervision of the Campus Life Staff. The Area Coordinator is a member of the live-in staff, serves on the on-call team, and partners closely with the Student Affairs suite.

 

This is a full-time, 12-month position residing in campus housing.

Public Safety Officer / Communication Officers have two unique and specific responsibilities - Officers are responsible for patrolling the entire campus on foot, bicycle or by vehicle, or by fixed post to ensure the security, safety, and welfare of the Arcadia University community, its guests and visitors. - The ability to interact with the internal and external community during both non and emergency situations with the ability to gather critical information and relay to responders while coordinating emergency responders.
